Dan Holub joined the Indiana State Teachers Association (ISTA) as their new Executive Director, on April 24, 2017. ISTA represents nearly 40,000 teachers and education support professionals throughout Indiana.Prior to this Dan Holub served as Executive Director of the Minnesota Association of Professional Employees (MAPE) from January, 2013 to April, 2017. MAPE represents the 14,000 professional employees who work for the State of Minnesota across all agencies and MNSCU. Prior to joining MAPE, Holub was a senior manager with the Wisconsin Education Association (WEAC), 2008-2013, where he managed the collective bargaining, legislative, organizing, political action and research areas of the union. Holub has also worked as Director of The University of Iowa Labor Center, Business Manager of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 204, and as a public interest attorney with the Iowa Legal Services Corporation.
