From quality audits to annual budgets, I was exposed to many different business processes of the company which helped me become a well rounded professional.Through principles of several best practices and manufacturing theories, I was able to train staff, improve facility layout and implement operational efficiencies. These changes provided customers with better lead-times and improved service from quality to costing.I also played a key factor in a product line transfer from the UK to Canada. As a group, we were able to recover critical timelines while implementing improvements within the Technical Data Package and operational processes.As a responsible production manager I needed to illustrate the necessity of a strong Health and Safety program to employees. The first step was to review the existing programs and attack them as individual sections. Hiring an outside company to complete the necessary maintenance on the machining equipment not only gave me a confident cleansing of the machinery but also developed a maintenance program.In the last several months at Allen Vanguard, I led a small group of professionals in a cost reduction effort. This group was recognized and became the benchmark for CCB meetings.
