Worked with our partners to identify functionality, performance, and architectural enhancements on GSA's REXUS, an enterprise lease management application.

At The Loyd Group, we focused on supporting the Veteran’s Benefit Management System (VBMS) for the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA). I briefed VBA Senior Leadership on technical issues relating to VBMS as well as collaborated with VBA business, IT and policy stakeholders to define release scope as well as defining level of effort and de-conflict ongoing concurrent software projects across VBA. I defined the initial process, techniques, and templates for VBMS requirements elicitation in a Federal Agile Environment while mentoring a staff of 27 staff, contractor, and partner resources.

As an Associate Director with Gartner Consulting. I worked with Federal and Commercial clients on ITIL process, Enterprise Architecture development, and IT Governance & Strategy projects. I had the opportunity to collaborate with Gartner analysts on vendor assessments as well as supported multiple winning proposals.

During my time with Booz Allen, I supported multiple federal agencies in developing their enterprise architecture; SOA governance processes, as well as implement service portfolio management tools and processes. I played key roles on multiple proposals and authored white papers focused on developing SOA enabled enterprises within the DoD.

I represented HP and maintained relationship with partners on proposals by designing solutions and developing technical content for proposals with a focus on SOA as well as coordinating proposal activities across varied groups within HP. I also supported limited project work represented DIA on co-sponsored Web Service Registry and Security working groups, using Systinet within proof of concept efforts, and developign documentation for the Certification and Accreditation of Systinet.

As the Integration Practice Deputy Director at CSC, I assisted in the management of a 22 person group, vendor relationships, and developing the practice’s strategic direction. I was the main point of contact for the client and their partners on technical issues for design and implementation of an SOA including Rules Engines, Business Process Management (BPM), Content/Document Management technologies. Prior to that effort, I was the technical lead and architect for multiple projects of varying size responsible for application design, task management, and documentation/deployment.

During my tenure at BAE Systems, I provided network engineering and custom application development support for a tier-one organization in the US Navy. I managed a 6 person cross-functional team, where we introduced and standardized on the J2EE framework for all of our client’s application development and integration work.

At Total Sum Parts I managed resource allocation for 5 developers as a technical mentor and project manager. As a technical project manager I was responsible for requirements gathering/analysis, technical design, task monitoring, and day to day communications with the client.

While I was with US Interactive, I designed, constructed and deployed web applications using Vignette, Broadvision, and J2EE based solutions. I conducted technical architecture and design sessions with clientele, evaluated development tools and products, and created pre-development technical specification and post-development support documents.
