Waudena Entrance Systems DivisionI have performed a variety of tasks associated with preparation and assembly of high quality exterior doors. Currently working in jamb preparation, ensuring jambs meet a wide array of highly customisable specifications from depth, height, and width. I prepare jambs for any number of custom entry styles such as patio doors and sidelights in both inswing and outswing configurations using a range of woodworking tools including table saws and wood CNC machines daily. I'm also an active member of our plant safety team, ensuring tasks are completed in a safe manner every time, and troubleshooting potential injuries before they can happen.I also work regularly with our quality control team to ensure we are getting the best quality wood parts to build the best quality doors in the industry, identifying quality issues with stock parts from different vendors on a regular basis.

Manage a team of roughly 10 associates, coordinate tasks including unloading trucks, putting away freight, and packing down areas in need. Ensure safety and security of the building and associates as the last manager in the building Monday thru Friday. Provide support to the store on overnight tasks during slower evenings.During my time in this position I am also overseeing the rollout of a brand new freight process, training associates on the benefits and new roles included in the rollout, providing support to my team during the rollout, collecting feedback from the team and relaying it to appropriate management, and working closely with my distribution center to address opportunities during load and unload of trucks.

Responsible for safety and security of the building and associates, take care of customer issues while on duty, act as a representative of salaried management when in the building.
