I am a project supervisor with more than 30 years of solid experience constructing and commissioning multi-million dollar industrial projects requiring extensive and complex electrical and instrumentation installations. Throughout my professional career, I have consistently driven myself to meet new challenges and achieve goals, it is with this type of results orientated environment that I particularly excel as evidenced in my career growth from a journeyman on the tools to over 15 years in a supervisory and management role. Over the years I have developed considerable expertise in coordinating workforce teams of 300+ tradespeople, and successfully meeting or exceeding specific milestones for job-site safety, cost-saving measures and project completion. My background includes client construction supervision, quality management, vendor surveillance, direct hire supervision, and mentoring skills to build cohesive team values. I have confidence in communicating intelligently with clients as well as effectively leading the trades. I also strongly believe in, and reinforce, a safe work culture and was recently recognized for 1,000,000 hours injury free. Large-scale industrial processing projects I have experience with include; Bitumen mining and processing, oil refining, natural gas, canola crushing, hydrogen, power generation (fossil/nuclear), D2O (heavy water).
