As Senior Developer at Partisia, I functioned both as software architect and DevOps developer. I have contributed to solutions for double auctions, high-stake auctions and other solutions that utilize Secure Multiparty Computation. The front-end has been web applications and mobile apps based on a mix of GWT, Java and JavaScript using a back-ends with custom REST APIs hosted on tomcat, PostgreSQL/MySQL and Hibernate. When Partisia developed the Energiauktion.dk product, I was one of two persons responsible for the build and deployment process, which were to implement build scripts and configured the continuous deployment infrastructure. Partisia has only delivered one solution hosted on-premise, all other solutions are operated on AWS, Azure, Rackspace or hybrid of these cloud providers. Hence, I have an extensive experience with cloud providers and their services.

During the entire employment at Sykehusinnkjøp HF, even when I was CIO, I always been hands-on programming anything from PowerShell scripts, C# desktop applications, SharePoint Client customization, JavaScript, JSON, JQuery, d3js.org, Bootstrap, PowerApps, Excel macros or worked with data sources like MSSQL, CDS and SharePoint Lists. I have been using tools like MSSQL management studio, Visual Studio Community, Archimate, Visual Studio Code, Node.js, GIT, SharePoint Designer, Flow, PowerApps, SharePoint Workflows and PowerBI. Advised employees, and consultants in Data analysis, Software Architecture, REST/Web design, IT-security, Software Engineering best-practices and programming / debugging. I have been using REST API to SharePoint 2013, SharePoint Online, CDS/Dynamics, and other systems.

I used my skills to manage data sources, build datasets, build report templates, and aided in deployment automation of the reports. Currently we use PowerBI Desktop, PowerBI Pro and to some degree Excel.

I acted in a capacity of CIO for HINAS and later Sykehusinnkjøp HF for combined 3.5 years and with CIO title for more than 2.5 years. I started as employee number 25, when I stopped as CIO Sykehusinnkjøp was approximately 250 employees. HINAS had no IT department when I started, so it became my job to build a new IT department and strategy, on the foundation of the existing services bought externally. HINAS employees and procurement employees from all the public hospitals was consolidated into a new company Sykehusinnkjøp HF, what was “HINAS” back then, is today part of Sykehusinnkjøp HF.The infrastructure at HINAS was on-premise Windows Server based, and Sykehusinnkjøp HF has started a transition to Office 365 and Azure.

I was a specialist in two fields. The first field was IT security and the second field were positioning technology and the use of positioning. I worked on close to 20 small and large projects as researcher, developer and architect. I always had time for co-workers, who I aided on their issues related to IT security, positioning, implementation of build and deployment, Eclipse IDE, networking and operations.I developed desktop, web, J2ME, Android and Arduino applications, mainly using either Eclipse or Microsoft Visual Studio and relevant editors. Desktop was mainly developed in Java or C#. When smaller hardware platforms was required, we used either mobile phones or Arduino. I also did simple hardware design and implementations. I have experience with building and deploying to different platforms and Linux on-premise and cloud servers (Amazon AWS: EC2, EBS, S3, and ...)As specialist on positioning technology and the use of positioning, I have a deep understanding of the use and limitations of indoor and outdoor positioning technologies (GPS/Galileo/Glonas, Ultrasound, WiFi, Bluetooth, Passive RFID, Active RFID and inertial sensors), and how one can use positioning, in an application context.On the ITSCI project, I designed and implemented a proof of concept digital signature prototype integrated with NemID test environment. The prototype used cryptographic secret sharing to distribute the private key across multiple devices (PC and Mobile phone), The signing protocol used both Bluetooth and Internet communication protocols.

I was part of a team of two developers. My responsibility was design and implement the front-end and back-end for the auction bidding process in 6 months. The solution consisted of a Java Applet and light weight REST like webservice. My responsibility was also server configuration and operations of LAMP platform with database replication. The Auction was the first practical application for Secure MultiParty Computation (SMPC). I am coauthor on the research article, found in the link below, the article contains a detailed description of the implemented solution. The customer Danisco (Nordicsugar) continued to use the solution multiple times in the period 2008-2014. It was only subjected to minor modification in that period.
