Senior Director Of Science, Product Analytics Lead
Current- Leading the data science team for travel and hospitality products. My team is supporting product analytics for three different products (N2Pricing, FareVantage, Seer) that generate forecast, price and inventory recommendations for a diverse set of customers. The portfolio of customers include economy, mid-scale and resort hotels, vacation rentals, cabin and cottage communities, amusement parks, intercity and commuter rail operators and assisted-living communities. - Leading the research and development of new analytical product features, calibration of demand forecasting algorithms, machine learning and optimization models for travel and hospitality products. Architecting the product analytics, defining system dependencies for analytical pipelines and leading design and prototype activities for all N2Pricing analytical modules. - Leading on-going monitoring and failure mitigation for vertical analytical engines. Establish calibration strategies for limited data, edge conditions and treatment for abnormal events in historical data (e.g., Covid) or forward-looking data (anomaly detection). - Defining the business intelligence platform and actionable KPI's to monitor forecast accuracy improvements and revenue uplift during customer implementations (Typical implementation projects we've delivered measured a 30% reduction in forecast error and revenue uplift ranging from 2% to 4%). Support customer success team by building business intelligence tools for business periodic ROI reviews and answering product support questions.- Building trust for stakeholders and prospective customers in product analytical capabilities. Weekly presence for our implementation projects as the science lead, on-demand presence for executive and sales meetings as the product analytics representative and on-demand presence for customer product support question and business reviews as the industry and product analytics calibration expert.
