By spring 2004 I was promoted to sales manager to lainch and build the Chiswick sales team. New to office and personnel management, my team was profit generating within 9 months. I used an aggressive, proactive approach to break into a saturated marketplace. My role then, as now, included all aspects of ‘agency’ from setting team targets, generating new business, valuing properties and consulting clients.We are the largest ‘new homes’ agent in the area and I have enjoyed a strong leadership role in this part of the business.In 2006, a new challenge was offered to me in our well-established Teddington sales team which required a stabilising & dedicated approach. Since then, I have expanded that office, doubling the turnover & increasing the team from a total of 5 to 9 staff. My role, as always, has been to encourage cross-selling between different areas of the business (including commercial & finance partners), managing client expectations, providing exceptional customer service & care whilst guiding & training staff in order to maximise profit.
