About Dan Jones

I am an independent consultant specialising in Global and UK campaigning and advocacy. I can offer support with:> Advocacy movement-building, facilitation and training> Advocacy strategy development> Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) for advocacy projects> Mentoring and coaching for those working in campaigning and advocacyI am UK-based and work part-time. I remain a stubborn optimist, despite everything. I've fought for many causes: quality healthcare, education, clean water and decent toilets across Africa and Asia; inclusion of people with disabilities in international development efforts; an end to the stigma surrounding mental ill-health; better services for people with visual impairment in the UK; and better treatment of refugees and asylum-seekers in the UK.I love uniting with smart people all over the world to make a bigger impact than we could alone. I get excited about advocacy and campaigning. I'd rather get stuff done than talk about it, but I'm told I'm easy to work with. I'm motivated by a good strategy and an inspiring leader, and I make a mean carrot cake.
