Understanding and recognition of the criticality of the TAPS pipeline and infrastructure and the balance necessary in applying security countermeasures within the framework of a private business environment. Provide ongoing development and implementation of security processes and procedures. Maintain the integrity of the electronic security systems and analyzes information derived from systems to develop and implement mitigative measures to protect against vulnerabilities. Reviews and updates documents to determine security requirements and content. Communicate frequently with other security managers to coordinate and conduct risk assessments of key infrastructure and implements security measures and mitigative efforts as directed. Assists with planning, funding and implementation of major security projects involving the SOC.

Direct Supervisor for the Alyeska Security Operations Center (SOC). Coordinate the SOC Qualification Training Program for Technicians. Administer access rights with in the security systems.Work with 3rd party contractors, IT, SCADA and Project Engineers to ensure smooth daily operation of the integrated security systems. Coordinate Maintenance and manage work orders. Maintain software/hardware and perform preventable maintenance. Ensure server backups are completed a periodic schedule as well as server patches, updates, or upgrades are conducted. Engage with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies as needed.
