A field-based rotation focused in the Access and Reimbursement for the orphan drug Ofev in Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). Responsibilities include coordination and execution of one on one calls with sales consultants related to the status of submitted Ofev referrals, detailed investigation and pull through of cases as they work their way through the specialty pharmacy process, and additional exposure to other Associate Director Access and Reimbursement responsibilities that occur as case volume warrants. • Coordination and execution of tracking of Ofev prescriptions, monitoring cases that have been Bridged pending resolution of the prescription approval, and addressing payer delays or denials.• Partnering with cross functional members of the RAAD specialty pharmacy or payer leads to streamline case resolution within our various specialty pharmacies within our network structure or negative policies or trends seen from insurance plans• Attending RAAD and zone-specific meetings and conference calls • Working directly with a RAAD zone director and mentor for ongoing education, assistance, and help during the rotation • Managing rotation and balancing current workload with current full time sales position in Mountain West Region
