With a specific focus in the furnishing world, he has been directly involved in the processes of product development, design, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, B2B sales, and the final consumer experience. He has a rare combination of expertise across all areas of the industry. Having spent years in factories, finish labs, design offices, warehouses, customer service, and retail stores, Dan has an understanding of the big picture and the web of interactions between all business components.Always looking for actionable insight, Dan and his team launched a furniture manufacturing program in Ningbo China for serving overseas store owners in 2010, where his team follows product deliveries directly into the overseas stores of the client. The program has clarified quality, handling, and consumer expectation issues, and also functions as a training program to raise the professionalism of the working teams, additionally serving as a brand-relationship-building tool for retailers.Dan is fluent in English and has a working knowledge of basic Japanese. He has spent much of his career on factory floors, first in North America, later Asia, periodically traveling to the US, Europe for design, sales, and training meetings. He has logged thousands of travel miles and accumulated years of experience living overseas.
