While primarily focused on Service Strategy and Service Design leading the Engineering Team, my scope also includes Operational support with Network Security and Distributed Hosting to complete the full Plan, Build, Run model. Within the past year, brought in 3 new services to State agencies with the largest accomplishment centered on multiple cloud vendor availability securely integrated with the State’s two Data Centers. This effort allows agencies to easily explore multiple cloud vendor solutions while ensuring security needs are met, integration with legacy systems is maintained, and standardized architecture design models are provided. Security is centered on the Zero-Trust model with micro-segmentation service as the underlying design. The effort, while still maturing, has helped agency development teams to optimize applications with the numerous services within each cloud vendor.My focus continues to be on new technologies and services that could be explored and utilized with the State Agencies. Those include the feasibility and practical usage of several areas including Blockchain, RPA, Machine Learning, and AI, the latter of which extends far back into graduate research.
