Throughout my early years, sports and music kept me busy, and as I got older, my entrepreneurial spirit started to shine as I began planning events and parties when I was still in High School. In 2001 I moved to Toronto to pursue an education and career in Mobile Electronics. Soon after, I started my first business in wheel and tire distribution. After a few years, I began to miss the West Coast lifestyle he was accustomed to, and decided a move back to Victoria was in order.Here's the rest of my story...In 2005 Dan opened his second business just outside of downtown Victoria, which he owned until 2013. Being a young entrepreneur living in Victoria, and being involved in the local music and nightlife scene, Dan decided after an inspirational trip to Croatia, that people on the west coast needed a hub for their culture – a magazine that was not only informative and inspirational, but represented west coasts newfound vibrancyIn the summer of 2012, LYF Media was born, a lifestyle brand that includes an online magazine, event promotions, and local business development. Dan and the LYF media team are consultants for some of the west coasts leading businesses in a diverse range of industries from real estate to restaurants and health and wellness.Dan has been a leader and an innovator using his own experience as an owner to help small and medium size businesses develop new strategies to market and grow their businesses in today’s ever-changing social landscape.
