ProMedica is a $7B integrated health system with hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other businesses in 30 states. ProMedica acquired HCR ManorCare in 2018. Took over management of a $900MM supply chain program, reporting directly to the CFO. Supervised 120 direct and indirect reports. Negotiated more than $300MM in annual medical supply and pharmaceutical distribution contracts. Selected Accomplishments:• Member of the team that established the company’s first Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) vendor program, working with GPOs and vendors to create baselines and set goals for supplier diversity.• Saved more than $50MM and reduced headcount 28% by integrating purchasing teams and renegotiating contracts to consolidate ProMedica and HCR spending.• Guided the company’s securing of personal protection equipment (PPE) during the pandemic by creating a distribution hub in just a few days, which shipped as many as 10,000 items across 30 states at its peak.

Accountable for $100MM in revenues for our 71 outpatient rehabilitation clinics, a hospital contract management company, nurse and therapy staffing company, a long-term acute care hospital, and a durable medical equipment business.Selected Accomplishments:• Carried out a reorganization that eliminated $1MM in annual losses and achieved $3MM in profit over a 3-year period.• Saved $1.3MM per year by renegotiating the therapy equipment and therapy staffing contracts.• Lowered temporary staffing costs $23MM in 1 year, resulting in $7.5MM in annualized savings.
