Working with CFC Bars in opening and establishing their two bar-restaurants; Halo and Craig's sports bar was a fantastic and enriching experience. We set up two bars, one directly above the other in the city centre of Sunderland and i had privilege of serving as deputy, then general manager over 8 months.

Helped create this wonderful 4-bar complex rock bar/music venue/daytime cafe from the ashes of Bluefly, a latenight house music club. Ran it happily as GM for more than 8 years and this was the most valuable experience of my career, learning how to engage and succeed in a market whilst dealing with a whole range of situations on a daily basis really strengthened my capacity to succeed under pressure.
