I'm a Brazilian-Japanese international student, currently a senior at The University of Michigan-Dearborn, aspiring to work in the sports industry, with a preference for football (soccer). I believe that sports change lives, as it changed mine, giving me the opportunity to study in the United States. Sports are all about passions, and when we passionately work for something, the values created are multiple.I came to the U.S. as a soccer student-athlete and I could understand how sports can play a pivotal role to impact teenager's life involving academics and athletic competition. My purpose is to help the youth to have greater opportunities through sports.As such, I have worked in Brazil, at a youth soccer academy as an assistant coach, cooperating with tournaments organization, and practice sessions planning and execution. With that experience, I seek initiating my career in the sports industry in the field of marketing and management, with the goal to fulfill my purpose.
