In the role of Project Manager I am responsible for the delivery of high-security Commercial and Commonwealth Projects in Australia and overseasExperience includes; / Tendering, business development and strategy / Delivery of projects up to and exceeding $15M / Client facing role with responsibilities including contracts / financial / commercial management/ Delivery of complex infrastructure upgrade projects relating to high-security and anti-terrorism / On-site and external project co-ordination including procurement and sub-contractor engagement/ Responsible for technical compliance and commissioning of products / project elements/ Dispute management and resolution

A multi-faceted project co-coordinator and client facing project management role covering both physical infrastructure and fire protection of critical assets for government and commercial clients throughout Australia, S.E Asia, Middle East, Europe and North America. Project co-ordination experience and responsibilities include;High Security Compound Upgrades | Middle East, S.E. Asia and Australia/ Client facing role with responsibilities including contracts / financial / commercial management/ Turnkey delivery of complex infrastructure upgrade projects for blast, vehicle and intruder threats/ On-site and external project co-ordination including procurement and sub-contractor engagement/ Responsible for technical compliance and commissioning of products / project elements VSL Fire Protection System (New-to-Market Development Initiative)/ Lead developer for new a product to market including testing, compliance and qualification/ Identify, tender, secure and delivery of projects across the USA, Europe and Asia/ Responsible for engagement of technical consultants, suppliers, logistics and overall project delivery / Responsible for marketing, additional developments, patenting and int. conference presentations

Key responsibilities extending from the design, development and implementation of the VSL Fire Protection systems to critical infrastructure including numerous stay cable bridge projects in North America and the protection of critical elements for a Nuclear facility in Russia. Project management and co-ordination of internal product design and development and intellectual protection including product patenting. Daniel’s role spans both technical aspects and client facing roles throughout project construction delivery, through to hand-over. With a key focus of constantly improving VSL’s offer of high security infrastructure protection, Daniel understands the importance of achieving core client outcomes and strives to maintain close and successful working relationships with clients, specialist consultants and product suppliers/manufacturers.

Responsible for the early stage design, development and testing of the VSL Fire Protection system for stay cable structures.Daniel played a part as a core member of the design team of the VSL Fire Protection system including responsibilities for designing and developing industry leading testing plans and arrangements.Experience extending to the high security product implementation, technical support and procurement including vehicle anti-ram barriers, blast resilient systems and ballistic upgrades for commercial and government projects including;New Embassy Project, Thailand | High security procurement packageOil and Gas facility, Java, Indonesia | High security procurement and works packageSports Stadium | High security procurement and work packageVulnerability Assessments | Experience in undertaking vulnerability assessment of building and compounds for particular security requirements of in both Australia and S.E Asia
