This group was responsible for the interfaces between the breweries and distributors, these interfaces consisted of such functions as production, distribution and shipping of various beer and soft drink products. Worked on a project to create a better forecasting model for promotions and discounts based on historical data. The old process of forecasting was revamped and data from other sources in the company was brought in. The project was completed on time. Applied knowledge of OS/JCL, ORACLE, COBOL, CICS, TOAD, Expeditor, and Changeman.• Gathered and documented requirements for the project, after getting familiar with the present process for producing the report. • Developed test plans and data, coded, tested and debugged programs.• Assisted the test group with test plans and integration testing to ensure the project met the program and system specifications outlined at the beginning of the project.
