Quality & Safety Team analyst at Piedmont Healthcare, supporting a system of 11 hospitals and over 100 medical offices. My responsibilities included:- Monitoring regulatory compliance for Health Information Technology- Testing patient information systems to ensure they were built to specification- Preparing for and responding to government audits- Assisting with enterprise-wide software implementations, changes, and upgrades - Supporting optimization of Epic for Physician User Groups

Developed and coordinated the Emergency Management Program for the largest children's healthcare system in the country. Served as the State Coordinator for pediatric hospital mutual aid in Georgia. Certified Healthcare Emergency Coordinator. Responsibilities included:- Emergency response planning, drills and exercises- Incident debriefings, reports and improvement action plans- Coordination with other hospitals and emergency response agencies- Grant applications, emergency supply purchases and inventory management- Regulatory compliance and audits

Responsible for the Security and Emergency Management Programs. Served as the Regional Coordinator for hospital mutual aid in NE Georgia. IAHSS Senior Member, Safety Committee Member, Emergency Preparedness Committee Chair, CPR Instructor.

Promoted from Officer to Supervisor to Department Manager. I was ultimately responsible for the Hospital Security Program, as well as Parking, Shuttle and external Courier Services. Safety Committee Member and Fire Safety Instructor. IAHSS Senior Member.

Served as a Patrol Officer, EMT and Spanish Translator. Special assignments included VIP security details and prisoner escort flights. Awards and commendations included the Army Acheivement Medal, Airborne Wings, and the Expert Marksmanship Badge. Honorably Discharged.
