Reed in Partnership is a public service provider, delivering services that positively transform people and their communities.As Programme Director I have been Operational Lead for the Reed in Partnership delivery of the Restart Scheme in Cornwall providing local support to the long term unemployed, the AIRE Positive Move-On service providing resettlement support to refugees nationally, and the Refugee Employability Programme in London and the North East.I successfully designed and delivered a rapid resettlement and employment programme for Afghan refugees on behalf of Reed and the BBC.Following on from my role as the operational lead for the successful procurement of the Career Transition Partnership (CTP), I am currently supporting the launch and integration of this new service at Reed in Partnership. CTP is the official resettlement service for the Armed Forces. It provides comprehensive personal support for Service Leavers who are transitioning from their military career into civilian employment, further education or retirement.

Reed in Partnership is a public service provider, delivering services that positively transform people and their communities.As the Senior Operations Manager, I am responsible for the delivery of the ESF and DWP co-funded Work Routes contract in Cornwall.Work Routes offer a free service of tailored, expert employment advice, as well as skills training, health and wellbeing support, and financial support.

South West

Reporting directly to the Head of Retail, and providing leadership to 100+ colleagues across 16 stores. Covering the South West Region, previously Kent and London Regions.My remit included execution of regulatory compliance standards, store standards and customer service standards and collaborating with support functions, including close working relationships with supply chain, marketing, HR, L&D, loss prevention and retail operations.Successes include being recognised as Regional Manager of the year, based on delivering the highest performance out of 25 Regional Managers across a balanced scorecard of KPI's, including sales and customer growth metrics, retention, arrears control, compliance and overall profit contribution, outperforming all company targets set.Attained leading financial performance on Profit and Loss between 2011 and 2018, delivering 20-30% consistent Year on Year operating profit growth, compared to other regions with <10%.Spearheaded a major Credit and Risk project for Retail Operations during 18 month secondment. The Project involved collaboration across the business and with external suppliers, from research and development to a successful national rollout. Responsibilities also included the change management, communications, training and implementation of a new risk assessment system to replace manual processes in all stores.Demonstrated tangible evidence of positive engagement of the store teams, through the annual colleague survey. Participation was highest of any region at 92% and overall colleague engagement scores increased by 27% to 82%, 2nd highest score in the companySince 2017 in the South West Region I have delivered reductions in cost controls including 20% in payroll by redeploying resource effectively and successfully executing store closure programmes

After a fast track promotion into Store Management I created a strong transformational track record across 3 stores (Sunderland, Bristol and Newport) for delivering high performance from previously under-performing teams.Awarded Store Manager of the year in 2010. Based on delivering the strongest sales growth, and profit and loss improvement out of 300 Store Managers.

The Accounts Representative role involved personal interaction through various channels, including home visits, with customers to establish affordability levels and offer appropriate forbearance to resolve arrears.Ranked in the top 5 out of 500+ Accounts Representatives in the Company from the point of completing induction in December 2005 through to promotion to Deputy Manager in September 2006.

Truro, United Kingdom

In my role, working for this privately owned multi-sport local retail sports store I managed a team of 8 staff and reported directly to the owner.I developed client relations for local businesses and schools to promote sports awareness.I increased sales volumes ensuring status as premium outlet for high end brands and controlled purchase of stock, liaised with suppliers and purchasers and reviewed stock control and increased services on offer, developed follow up services offering sport equipment repairs.I also implemented stock inventory and refreshed the stock control system and stock replenishment.I improved standards and accountability throughout the business and orchestrated staff engagement and retention.

I was a Non-Commissioned Officer instructor in the Household Cavalry for Phase 2 training of recruits. I provided all round care for new recruits in all aspects from discipline to pastoral care and CPD. During my time in the army, I also carried out my role as member of the Riding Staff; led all areas of Equestrian - ceremonial duties in London, training in Windsor and running Army Equestrian Centre of Excellence in Germany. I succeeded as Lead rider in the Display Team and also attained highest achiever in Instructors course.
