I am a Senior Principal Hydrogeochemist with Geosyntec Consultants and have over 18 years experience in the mining sector focused on acid mine drainage and metal leaching characterization and mine waste and site water management. I have extensive experience working with mining clients to support mine site environmental solutions throughout all stages of the mining cycle. I have experience in a broad range of mine waste and mine water assessments that includes acid mine drainage and metal leaching assessments and prediction, seepage and source control evaluations for waste rock and tailings facilities, mine water and groundwater contaminant transport, baseline surface water and groundwater reviews, and water quality and geochemical modeling. I have extensively applied practical and innovative approaches to mine waste and water management to support development of site wide management options with consideration for efficient operations and closure of main mining landforms (waste rock and tailings storage facilities), open pits and underground mines.
