Active Water SportsIn 2007 I began working for Active Water Sports as a sales associate for the pro-shop. From 2007 to 2012 I managed two of AWS's retail locations. The jobs I was in charge of were: hiring, training, merchandising, hitting sales goals, and more. In 2013 I was promoted to the buyer. I was managing over $500k in purchasing power to stock two retail locations and our website. In 2017 I was promoted to Creative Director where I was in charge of events, social media, marketing, producing video content and the overall brand of AWS. In 2020 I became the General Manager which is the position I currently hold. I manage daily operations for our retail, e-commerce, boat sales, storage, and service department. Personel and processes are my primary focus. E-CommerceFrom 2009 to 2017 I helped manage activewake.com while it was hosted on Magento. In 2018 I migrated activewake.com to WooCommerce and grew sales from $100k to over $1M in just one year. EventsI have managed many events for Active Water Sports over the years. The events to note are: Grass Roots Wakeboard Competitions, the annual In-House Boat Show (Evening with the Stars), the annual Portland Boat Show, the annual Demo Days event, HangTime; a professional wakeboard double-up competition where I raised over $50k in sponsorship, invited 8 of the worlds top professional wakeboarders and hosted an afterparty with River Pig. SandilakeI assisted in a start-up clothing company that would eventually end up on Shark Tank. I assisted in negotiations with investors like Mark Cuban, Lori Grenier, and others. We would eventually sell the company for a profit.
