Part of the Intramural Research Program (IRP) within the NIH. Working as a research assistant in Dr. Martha J Somerman's Laboratory of Oral Connective Tissue Biology in the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS). Research focuses on investigating the cases of Osteogenesis Imperfecta with dental defects. Finding possible connections between periodontal development and the bonesiloprotein gene.

Working under Dr.Kathryn L. Taylor's research on Low Risk Prostate-Cancer screening and decision making.

Working under Dr. Bassem R. Haddad's Tissue Culture Shared Resources lab for tissue culture and replication. Responsibilities include the caretaking of newly created cell lines and tissue cultures, and monitoring the incubation as well as the frozen states of the cell lines and tissues.

I was a full-time missionary for the LDS Church. I was called to serve in the Korea Seoul Mission which covers the north half of South Korea which includes the cities of Seoul, Incheon, and Gangneung. Most of the work included full-time proselyting, however service oriented work was encouraged, in our case the missionaries in the Korea Seoul Mission also served to teach English Class for free to any prospective students at our local chapels. For two years I was able to develop ESL teaching especially catered to adults who wanted assistance in conversation and textual English.
