My role as sports coach working for RMC Coaching is within different schools around Weston-super-Mare. Working with children ranging from 7-10 year olds I have led sessions of football, cricket and swimming. Through this I have learnt key skills such as: independence and responsibility.

Head of the U14s girls squad. Coaching the technical based sessions during the season. Responsible for selecting players to progress onto the regional camps. My aim is to push through as many as possible when they are ready, technically, socially and physically.

Port Talbot Ladies FC are currently competing in the Women’s Welsh Premier League. My role as assistant coach is mainly to support the views and decisions of the manager, both on match day and on the training ground. I devise session plans on what we feel that the team needs to work on from previous matches and sessions. In the Managers absence, I have taken on this role.

Following working with the 2nds squad last year, I have been given the opportunity to work as Head Coach. This involves me taking and planning coaching sessions every week for both the 1st XI and 2nd XI and leading the 1st team on match day. I have had to select the players using a trial process at the start of the season. I have the responsibility of advising the successful players that they have been selected for the squad. Once the season has begun I am responsible for selecting the match day squads and coaching them on the day with players ranging from the age of 18 years upwards.

UK Elite Soccer is an America based coaching company that select and hire the best coaches from across the United Kingdom. During my time working in the United States I am required to plan and deliver coaching sessions to large groups of children ranging in ages and ability levels.

I have worked at Cardiff City Football Club Academy, on a yearlong internship module during my studies at University. Doing this has given me valuable experience in coaching in a professional football environment and working with a higher standard of players and coaches. Whilst on my placement I worked alongside the Coach of the Under 10s on match day, training and selection process. I also undertook, as part of my studies an individual player progress profile.
