Responsible for the strategic growth and expansion of the SGN global multi asset buyside /sellside broker network in the UK and Europe including trade execution OMS / EMS products.

Responsible for a team of 6 and the UK business with revenues of over GBP 10 Million and various different sales product lines. Responsible for the design, creation, and market support of all Calastone products including:Settlement and strategic partnership with Barclays CorporateTrade Notification ServiceAsset Reregistration ServiceVia Nova Pensions

Head of Market Innovation – with specific responsibility for the definition and programme management of Calastone’s Settlement Services Product Offering.Responsible for market consultation to define, design and deliver post trade mutual fund products/services that compliment and secure Calastone’s core business.Responsible for working with the industry participants and industry standards bodies to promote adoption of existing ISO20022 standards and to help define them where they do not exist.• Working with the Industry participants and Calastone Management to define the overall Settlement Product offering including Settlement Hub and Register Hub Solutions.• Defining a set of standard ISO20022 compatible settlement message flows for the CREST settlement solution (ISO/ADVN Messaging).• Working with other settlement venue providers (who are also looking to offer settlement services in this space) to ensure, where possible, that there settlement messages can be used to communicate with other settlement venues.• Working with the industry participants including TPA’s and Registrars to define a standard framework for Register Update Messaging.• Working with Calastone’s CTO to ensure the Physical design, BIC Code and Swift hosting options and overall architecture & Infrastructure are compatible with the aims of the programme.• Work with Calastone’s COO to ensure that the relevant client memberships, contracts, Legal ownership, registrations and Regulatory requirements are met.• Working with Calastone’s CTO, COO, MD and Head of Client Services to develop an overall commercial model for syndication with the industry participants to obtain funding for the programme.• Develop an overall programme & communication plan to monitor and communicate progress and mitigate issues.

Seconded to Euroclear after the acquisition of EMXCo to act as lead product manager for Euroclear’s project to dematerialise collective investments within the CREST system.• Owner and organiser of Funds Liaison Group and Fund Technical Working Groups.• Review market response to consultation in response to Funds Green Book.• Developed and delivered strategy in order to response to market concerns and questions re Green Book.• Secured market buy via the FLG for the adoption of Cash Plus solution for funds. • Main contact for Euroclear for APCIMS, IMA and FSA for fund issues.• Production of press releases, sales literature and commercial adverts for funds solution.• Identify commercial competitors and identify threats and respond effectively.• Represent Euroclear at major industry events• Support the sales process in order to gain market momentum

Re-draft and re-launch all client facing system and operational documentation. Re-launch EMXCo Standards Board.
