Head of Continent/College in a vertical pastoral system (years 7-10). I have responsibility for leading form tutors and students with in my Continent area. This includes Pupil Premium, welfare, behaviour and attendance. Also teach PE.

This includes quality assurance of the projects at department level, inclusive of Assignment IV, teaching standards, performance management, data capture and collection.Line management duties to teachers and delivers of educational projects and programmes within BRCT.The department has gone through a range of QA and have received Good to Outstanding on all visits, this during a period of change and growth within the Trust, including 3 new members of staff and a new funding provider for 16/17/18. All BTEC courses has 100% pass rate with 100% of students achieving target grade (lowest grade achieved DMM) and 60% of students achieving over their target grade. Main responsibilities include:Lead and delivery of BTEC and EFLT Foundation Degree, including assignment writing, timetabling, programme of study, pastoral provision, recruitment, welfare and safeguarding of students, staff CPD in Safeguarding, appointment of teaching staff.Lead link for the Trust to funding provider which include reporting on targets and delivery, quality assurance and funding.Oversee education provision outside of BTEC which include funded projects such as Premier League Enterprise, and long term provision to schools, including KS4 (BTEC level 1) delivery of PE to The Heights Free School, Blackburn. Quality assurance of delivery with in the department.Designated Safeguarding Lead for Education. On going CPD to work with Blackburn with Darwen and Lancashire County Council. Show less

Sole teacher at BRFC CT and overall responsibility for the for delivery of Level 3 BTEC in Sport, pastoral care of pupils, over see funded educational programmes, develop programmes for use within the department and development of the department on the whole. With this also coach at the club and sessions outside of the club and various levels.

Teacher of PE Key Stages 3-5, form tutor of KS 3-4. Deliver BTEC at level 2 and 3. Mentor to PGCE students.
