I have built games in assembly language, created a compiler and language tools for game designers, founded a number of companies, building hardware,and stretching my wings into marketing, sales and business development.1970's - Built and sold graphic editing software, games, and architectural engineering tools. Remember CP/M, TRS-80, Commodore PET?1980's - Worked as an engineer creating tools for game designers, writing educational games. Struck out on my own designing, building and marketing digital audio hardware. Created one of the first full multi-media creation suites called 'Quiet On the Set'. Remember the Commodore Amiga, C64, PC Junior, IBM PS/2?1990's - Created forward thinking educational software. Worked in pure research helping to invent the networked class room. As CTO for educational software companies, managed the creation of authoring environments for classrooms and CD-ROM production. Had a wild ride during the internet explosion. Co-founded an internet direct marketing company, ended up selling that to Yahoo! and spending time in Silicon Valley. Remember when C++, HyperCard, SQL-Server and even HTML were all new fangled?2000's - Launched B2B media products, Designed and sold multi-media firmware for OEM's. Built more hardware (can't seem to help myself). Designed, manufactured and marketed an internet based set top box. Served as CTO for a media startup and managed the creation of video media production environment. 2010's - Built a video advertising network. Co-founded an integrated television and internet advertising company. Currently putting together and industry consortium to define next generation operating system for interactive and social media on TV.
