In attempting to find a company with the agility of a start-up and the infrastructure of a large organization, I was fortunate to be able to apply my skillset at Valeyo. In starting my role during a time of transition within QA, I was tasked with providing new processes and reviewing existing regression and testing approaches. During this time I have worked with and learned from several branches of the organization, becoming a subject matter expert on CRIterion, a loan origination platform used by many of Canada’s largest credit unions. - Reviewed requirements documents and produced testing documents as a SME working closely with Business Analysts and Developers to define the scope of projects, provide useful feedback, and ensure that quality assurance is an holistic process within the SDLC - Provided testing and business expertise on large impact projects, analyzing and organizing test approaches with thousands of test cases written and executed- Spearheaded a full review of the platform regression package on lending and insurance, providing confidence in knowing important business functions are not affected by new releases- Implemented and improved QA process whereby work orders are reviewed and aligned with documentation standards, allowing QA to review test cases and results quickly based on complexity- Responsible for end-to-end testing on the platform starting with deployment of code and SQL scripts on the testing environment to the review of the release changes on the live environment

With an aim of engaging in a small, agile start-up culture while leveraging my experience in the banking IT sector, I was the first QA hire of Planswell. I was solely responsible for creating and instituting testing practices and policies for the CSS based website. I worked daily with the COO, UX, Product and Development teams while also communicating and gathering feedback from Administration, Marketing and Sales, instilling QA across all lines. During my time there was a marked increase in the quality of the website and in the development process.- Created QA practices within an agile environment including test cases, defect management, and production support across all product lines including lending, insurance and investments.- Implemented a release management system with accompanying updates for company-wide distribution to improve visibility and engagement. - Consistently helped bridge any gaps between Product and Development by ensuring engagement on both sides of the business.

- Led testing on over fifty projects with various stakeholders (MBNA, TD Canada, TD Bank US, vendors) ensuring success across multiple cultures within the TD workforce- Mentored and trained new QA hires on platforms such as JIRA, HP ALM and TSYS with a focus on automation and quality- Most recently oversaw building of new collections testing processes for large projects working with a committee of over fifty, with my initial submission being used as a template

- Contributed to testing on over forty projects with distinct commendation from the greater QA team for communication skills and teamwork- Provided expertise on Excel functionality to improve automation and reduce FTE required for transmission file processes by 50%, leading to improved collaboration with vendors.

- Provided legendary customer service to clients leading to the highest district customer experience index scores for several quarters leading to an 85% increase in branch customer satisfaction- Succeeded in one of the most competitive market in the country (GTA – Core) with real estate and personal lending sales volumes exceeding $100M- Gained customer trust with investments providing clear communication and expertise leading to $35M in sales

- Executed test cases on in-house software focused on personal lending and credit application screens for sales staff- Created new insight and tools on Excel for automation and customized projects with VBA where required
