Defect co-ordinator at NATS on the D-SESAR project. My role was as the Defect co-ordinator to ensure the smooth operation of the complex Defect process within the project, build relationships and improve communication within the Defect Process. I ran weekly sessions co-ordinating the Defect Review Boards and acted as the intermediary between the 19 Service groups and the projects multiple levels. Responsible for delivering weekly metrics, organising additional review boards and maintaining the projects IT system. In addition to my role I undertook working with JIRA and acted as the systems administrator after the JIRA SME left and provided training to the tool.

An enjoyable role in which I believe I have established an excellent working relationship with my engineers that has enabled me to understand the Telecomms business quicker, it's a fast paced environment where the need to be conscientious, adaptable, precise and effectual are paramount to be successful in fulfilling our clients needs. To manage the workload efficiently in an order that the client's SLA's and KPI's are met. Work with regional supervisor & engineers by allocating and planning work in a method that maximises their time in the most efficient manner possible. Manage calls, emails and multiple I.T. systems in order that ours and the clients systems reflects updates, issues & completions. My role required a high level of personal skills to successfully resolve all queries. I responded to requests for assistance in person, via phone, electronically, advise the user on appropriate action & log all help desk interactions, Administer help desk software, redirect problems to the appropriate resource, identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention, track and route problems and requests and document resolutions, prepare activity reports and stay current with system information, changes and updates. The role involved dealing with all non clinical internal issues arising within the hospital for all departments such as security, estates, catering, portering and many others. Hospital heli-pad supervisor where I was a qualified fire safety officer. I chaired the Joint Consultative & Negotiation Committee group for Carillion at Q.A Represented for the Safety Action Group at Queen Alexandria. Carillion representative for the NHS Group Policy team at the hospital.

Transferring of personal records & creating a new filing system.

A role I enjoyed a lot and took great pride in. I learnt a great deal about managing, both the clientele and the staff. Everyday tasks involved General running of the bar, creating rotas and dealing with any arising staff issues. Health and safety was an important part of the job and I had to be aware at all times for any possible hazards. Staff training in customer service and health and safety was an important function of mine and through regular training of my staff I was able to ensure a high level of customer service and safety. The financial management of the bar was the principal focus, which involved achieving weekly, quarterly and annual targets. Stock management. I also used a variety of advertising campaigns and ran various regular themed events, all targeted to a type of clientele. From my time here I learnt the value of good customer service and hence customer satisfaction, which helped bring in repeat business and help develop new trade by creating a good reputation.
