Having been employed by Road Traffic Solutions at the age of 17 in the companies infancy, I have progressed through various departments attaining valuable skills and experience vital for this industry.I was initially brought on board to produce AutoCAD Traffic and Event Management Plans. I carried out this job role for almost 2 years managing, designing and presenting Traffic and Event Management plans for major schemes such as The London Triathlon, The Greenwich Half Marathon and various resurfacing schemes for Westminster City Council.Aspiring to move forward I took the opportunity to work within the Project Liaison Team. These responsibilities ranged from taking inquiries from our existing client base to receiving permission from the relevant council to booking the job into our job allocation system. As well as creating great relationships with our clients, I gained valuable relationships with key contacts from various local authorities throughout the UK.In 2011 I accepted the invitation to become a member of the Business Development Team. As well as introducing new clients to our company, my job role included pricing tenders, setting up rates, managing major Traffic Management schemes, carrying out site meetings and surveys when required and maintaining the advertising and merchandising for the company.
