Transformed and centralized the production department at THD, a direct response agency focused on fundraising for nonprofit organizations including Habitat for Humanity, American Red Cross, Feeding America, Alzheimer’s Association of America and Wounded Warrior Project. Reported directly to an agency partner and Executive VP. Developed and managed annual production plans and budgets totaling more than $100MM for up to 20 nonprofit clients. Controlled increasing manufacturing costs through rigorous cost management and negotiation of yearly or multi-year contracts. Managed and maintained trusted relationships with a large network of vendors. Responsible for managing campaign budgeting, scheduling, purchase orders and instructions, customer service standards, quality control and issue resolution.  Created and directed a service team that grew to 9 direct marketing professionals; responsible for all hiring, training and development, team assignments and overall department workflow. Managed and mailed 250-300MM direct mail packages annually as part of hundreds of integrated fundraising campaigns. Audience segments included acquisition, renewal, mid-level, planned giving, and major donor. Implemented agency-wide internal processes improvements and budgeting tools to streamline workflow between departments, improving consistency and department efficiency by 25%.
