Responsible for the management of Post19 and Enterprise19

I am responsible for the organization of transport to and from Post19 for around 30 young adults by around 40 different members of staff. I manage the day to day running of a base within Post19 which has multiple staff groups within it. I organize and manage the Post19 ICT resources including implementing network solutions across multiple sites. I also oversee the management of the Post19 website and social media sites.

I am experienced, fully trained and competent in using a number of medical interventions to maintain student’s health and welfare, including gastronomy feeds, oxygen therapy and physiotherapy exercises. I have experience in hydrotherapy, moving and handling and physiotherapy as well as developing an understanding of the educational curriculum and how this can be delivered through different methods. I am familiar working with therapists, undertaking their guidance I have planned, with the assistance of other members of the class team, teaching and learning activities and have adapted methods to suit individuals that I have been working with. I am experienced in following care plans and reporting and being part of a multidisciplinary team. I have assisted in many of the classes in the school over the past year and gained experience across a wide range of ages and abilities I found this both interesting and rewarding, but also thoroughly enjoyable. I have prepared resources for teaching activities and I feel I have established a good rapport with many of the students and now have the experience and confidence to work comfortably in all areas around the school. Outside of my role in the classroom I have welcomed the opportunity to work at the senior club. This has enabled me to pursue leisure activities with the students and interact with students from all areas of the school and feel this has also developed my rapport and respect of other colleagues within the school. I was responsible for maintaining stock levels on the shop floor, while also assisting customers with general enquirers. I was also responsible for stock taking and quality control.

Fleet

In this casual role I worked as a hardware technician responsible for upgrading firmware on several different host bus adapters. Through this I gained experience in storage area networks, fibre channel technology and in the use of both Linux and Solaris based operating systems.
