From founding the theatrical dandy-rock band Rent in the '90s (described as a fusion of the Divine Comedy, Scissor Sisters, and the Rocky Horror Show), to playing renowned venues and festivals, Dan's performing career highlights include iconic performances and film contributions. He now composes and writes songs for theatre, film, and community projects, showcased in recent works with Wrongsemble, Mikron, Leeds Playhouse and 509Arts. Dan's musicality spans rock, glam, Americana, new wave, southern gothic, musical theatre and cinematic soundscapes, creating vividly arranged compositions with eccentric characters. Raised on a diverse musical diet, Dan is a busy songwriter, composer, and sound designer. Embracing a new era, Dan, now a rock recording artist, continues to explore the realms of music, theatre, and television.
