As the Sr. Grant Administrator, and previously the DSRIP Program Manager within the OCIO at Northwell Health, my primary role within our team is to build the program framework that accounts for all of the IT-related components of DSRIP. This framework will position our team to support and enable our organization to meet the DSRIP project requirements and plan for sustainability beyond the DSRIP years. Northwell Health is a key partner within multiple Performing Provider System's (PPS's) as part of New York State's Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) Program.

I was primarily working onsite providing program & project management services to AHI that resulted in the successful completion/submission of their New York State DSRIP application, speed & scale submission, and Implementation Plan(s). These 3 submissions contain the overall plans and road map to establish a successful Performing Provider System (PPS) as part of New York State's Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) Program. My roles & responsibilities varied since the start of DSRIP and ranged from program management efforts related to the application to implementing a PMO tool (Performance Logic's DSRIP Tracker). More recently I was involved in providing guidance to the PMO and educating staff as I transitioned my responsibilities and knowledge to newly hired AHI staff. This particular PPS is geared toward the restructuring of the health care delivery system across nine counties in Upstate New York by reinvesting in the Medicaid program.I was fortunate to work closely with AHI's leadership team and internal staff to overcome numerous challenges and achieve a successful submission of their DSRIP application and implementation plan. Provide practice consulting services related to Meaningful Use Stage I and Stage II assistance. These services include: Practice education, workflow and process redesign recommendations, EHR system configuration recommendations and assistance, Report/dashboard monitoring, and CMS Incentive Program registration and attestation assistance.

Currently working with the senior management team at the Adirondack Health Institute (AHI) to manage and implement 3 grant funded programs (2 Federally funded grants and 1 NYS DOH grant). All three of these programs are directly related to implementing the Affordable Care Act (ACT) within the Adirondacks. To date, we've successfully implemented these programs and continuously work to improve them. These programs are specific to outreach, education, and enrollment services. AHI provides Education and In-Person Assistance to members of the community that require assistance exploring the health insurance coverage options available via the New York State of Health Marketplace. As the interim manager, I've been directly involved in recruiting, hiring, and training staff. Contributed toward establishing the organizational structure, workflows and systems. While implementing these three programs simultaneously and continuing to build our Enrollment Assistance Services and Education (EASE) team, we are actively improving the workflow to ensure sustainability of these programs. My anticipated completion date on this engagement is March 31, 2014.

Working as a member of the Program Management Office within North Shore-LIJ Health System on a $17M HEAL 10 Project that involves implementation of EMR's and development of interfaces between multiple provider organizations. Program Goal to improve healthcare coordination for a targeted population via HIT Adoption and Interoperability via a Regional Health Information Organization (RHIO) / Health Information Exchange (HIE).

Worked as a member of the Program Management Office on a $18M HEAL 10 Grant Project for Hudson Headwaters Health Network (HHHN). The project encompassed the implementation of EMR's across more than 30 practices using a variety of EMR vendors, and connecting 5 of 6 hospitals to the Regional HIE. Additionally, the HEAL 10 Program coincides with the Patient Centred Medical Home pilot that is underway in the Adirondacks. Two data warehouses were created to produce measures based on both the clinical and claims data. Sustainability plan is being executed with the involvement of multiple Health Insurance Plans and providers working toward the same programmatic goals.

While at VNSNY, provided Managed Care operational and analytical support to various departments. Supported leadership team via reporting. Served as the Associate Director for the Managed Care Department from 2007-2008. Involved in the restructuring and redesign of of Managed Care operations.

Worked as a consultant for Accenture for over 4 years on 10 different UPS engagements. Gained experience in every aspect of the project and product life cycle. As a result of working here, I have gained skill sets that enable me to apply them across any industry.
