At Vulcan, I assisted and led advocacy efforts resulting in approval of and funding for critical infrastructure including the South Lake Union Streetcar ($50 million), Mercer Corridor Project ($300 million), and the North Downtown Substation ($200 million). Moreover, I secured land use code changes in South Lake Union to facilitate Amazon.com’s corporate.

• Conducted public relations and develop legislative strategy for Council committees that oversaw Seattle’s $2.4 billion budget, business taxation and licensing, economic development, land use and zoning. Coordinated.
• Designed legislative strategy and executed public relations for the successful efforts to build the Pacific Place Garage and expand the Washington State Convention and Trade Center.
• Legislative accomplishments include: model legislation to test housing types not allowed in Seattle, refinement of the Design Review program, simplification of Seattle’s Land Use Code and streamlining the permitting.
• Obtained positive media coverage for Councilmember Drago in the Seattle Times, Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Daily Journal of Commerce, Puget Sound Business Journal, KING TV, KCPQ 13, KOMO TV, KIRO TV and KUOW radio.
