I have worked as a Project Quality Manager, Value Stream Manager and SQE for over 25 years, am ASQ CQE and a 6 Sigma Green Belt. The experience has covered the full range of quality engineering from Quality and Manufacturing Management, AIAG, PPAP, APQP, ISO/QS auditing, product development, measurement system analysis, PPAP and all planning and problem solving tools like PFMEA and 8D, SPC and statistical methodologies and supplier development. I am also experienced as a Lab Manager of an injection molding materials and paint lab. I started my career as a machinist which has given me great insight as to what manufacturing requires from the ground up. I am as much at home with my sleeves rolled up working hands on as I am working to prevent a failure mode or managing a focus factory unit. I have a working understanding in a wide variety of manufacturing from injection molding, painting, high speed electronic assembly and soldering, precision machining, welding and a working knowledge of metallurgy.
