CurrentManages all aspects of the association while representing the KACD board of directors. Represents KACD with policy makers, lobbying on behalf of KACD at the state and national level. Keeps the KACD board apprised of current legislative actions and makes recommendations to the board on legislative strategy. Maintains and expands relationships with partners. Looks for opportunities to grow the capacity of KACD through fundraising, grant writing and administration of special projects. Develops and implements outreach strategies to increase KACD and individual conservation district visibility to the public, legislators, state and federal agencies and partner organizations. Organizes and coordinates the annual convention and other meetings and outreach event.
