Responsible for operations and P/L for business segment consisting of nine sites in five countries with approximately 2300 employees producing titanium and aluminum investment castings and complex machined assemblies in both aluminum and titanium.

Responsible for operations (P/L) at Arconic's machining facility in Laval, Canada; machining and integrated structures operations in Minneapolis MN and titanium service centers in Norwalk, CA; Tamworth, UK; and Rosny-sur-Seine, France.

Day to day leadership and management responsibilities for the Alcoa Defense group. Accountable for the creation of new business opportunities and for the stewardship of existing relationships between Alcoa, the Department of Defense and original equipment manufacturers in the defense sector. Leads the Alcoa Defense international business portfolio including an active effort to pursue emerging opportunities in the Middle East and Asia.

Directed U.S. Government security assistance programs by facilitating executive level coordination and formulation of policy with the Department of State, the Congress, U.S. Embassies and international partners to execute over $400 million in foreign military sales annually in support of national security objectives.

Led a team of 15 Country Engagement Officers and 8 in-country liaison officers to formulate and execute the full spectrum of political-military activities with over twenty maritime partner countries in the Middle East.

As a visiting fellow, contributed to CSIS project studying the strategic, three-way relationship between the United States, China and the Middle East. Member of a team of experts from the U.S. Government and academia who developed military confidence-building measures between China and Taiwan resulting in highly productive “Track II” dialog with both Chinese and Taiwanese senior government officials.

Team leader in the Chief of Naval Operations’ operational think tank, conducted political military analysis focused on North East Asian security issues and developed plans and policies to improve the Navy’s capabilities in multiple warfare areas.
