Dan is a Principal/Vice-President and Senior Project Director with GHD and Professional Engineer with over 10 years of experience across Canada and the United States. His professional practice encompasses a variety of environmental engineering assignments with an emphasis on emergency response, emergency management, litigation support, environmental investigations, remediation design and implementation, construction management, and site assessments. This experience includes sediment remediation programs in water bodies with sensitive environmental receptors, incorporating an ecological risk-based approach to complete the work in a manner that is protective of the environment. Dan is the Service Line Leader for Emergency Response – North America (GHD FIRST) and has extensive experience managing complex remediation/construction projects and achieving site closures in a timely manner. Dan has experience leading regulatory discussion groups, serving as a client-agency liaison with municipal, provincial, and federal regulators and assisting clients with public engagement during emergency events.
