Fraud Investigator
CurrentI conduct investigations into allegations of fraud of social programs, such as food stamps, medicaid, financial assitance, and child care assistance. I interview recipients, witnesses, law enforcement agencies, employers, landlords, and others in an attempt to establish or determine the potential for fraud or abuse of social programs. I compile reports and gather evidence needed to establish possible misuse of social programs. I conduct both surprise and scheduled home visits in attempts determine of allegations of misues are accurate. Evidence gathered in my investigations must meet the criteria of potential criminal findings as needed. Manage a revolving case load of 30-70 cases each month.
