I conduct investigations into allegations of fraud of social programs, such as food stamps, medicaid, financial assitance, and child care assistance. I interview recipients, witnesses, law enforcement agencies, employers, landlords, and others in an attempt to establish or determine the potential for fraud or abuse of social programs. I compile reports and gather evidence needed to establish possible misuse of social programs. I conduct both surprise and scheduled home visits in attempts determine of allegations of misues are accurate. Evidence gathered in my investigations must meet the criteria of potential criminal findings as needed. Manage a revolving case load of 30-70 cases each month.

Sunset, Utah

As a volunteer Firefighter and EMT-I, I did a variety of tasks depending on the need of the incident. I have been in command of accident scenes, performed search and rescue operations during fires, and provided critical medical to patients in need. I have conducted tours for school and scouting groups. I was on the Awards Commitee for the department and a member of the Utah State Fire Association as well as the Sunset Fire Department Association. For 2 years, I maintained, updated the website for Sunset Fire and rescue. During downtime, I performed a variety of tasks, including cleaning the station, maintaining equipment and fire vehicles, training, self study, and other projects as needed. As a firefighter, I participated in various community service projects, charitable fundraisers, and educational events. I also served as the department chaplain, assisting firefighters who experienced mental trauma as well as helping families cope through an emergency.

Assist youth offenders in transitioning back to home life after release from juvenile detention facilities. As a tracker, I would mentor youth offenders, and ensure that they were complying with court ordered community services, cerfews, and other requirements. I assisted youth in developing resumes, preparing for interviews for work, and managing their finances.

Supervised a team of 15-20 customer service representatives. Interviewed and assisted in the hiring of new employees. Provided training, direction, and improvement instructions to team members. Ensured quality and accurate service were provided to customers through monitoring calls and performing quality reviews on both calls and documentation. Provided corrective action or disciplinary action to employees performing below expectations.
