I was the primary point of contact for sales of products and services to consumers bygathering data to determine telecommunications and entertainment needs and to offer themost appropriate solutions. I performed various internal system tasks to generate orderactivity such as obtaining customer credit information, arranging for security deposits,verifying availability of facilities, scheduling and resolving discrepancies to ensure theorder is processed accurately. I developed and had great success with a telecommunications product called Call Detector(R). I developed and maintained sales contracts with Southern New England TelephoneCompany, U S WEST and worked off of the referral program with NYNEX - Bell Atlantic. Iexpanded Call Detector to work in the European telecommunications market. I handled allaspects of telecommunications service with the telephone companies, as well as theircustomers and helped write methods and procedures for telephone company services. My success with Call Detector enabled me to work with U S WEST now QWEST setting upevents and tradeshows. I set up Analog, DSL and VDSL lines and networked systems at theirevents in their booths. I also worked the event as their technical staffed person to helpsell their services and answer questions from potential clients. Staffing at these eventsoften involved setting up training for managers on equipment and features oftelecommunications products and services.
