First class writer with recent experience in both the creation of technical reports for successful HMRC Corporation Tax relief submissions and creative copywriting for small business promotional material; add to this my 14 years’ report-writing experience in the Criminal Justice Investigation Sector. My personal philosophy is that my written work should not just be capable of being understood, but incapable of being misunderstood.My private industry clients have included companies in the printing, security, automotive, waste management, agricultural and hydroelectric sectors. I have also written creatively for arts centres, car washes, outdoor pursuits, go karting and hair salons. This recent experience is perfectly augmented by my Public Sector writing experience (internal Police systems, Crown Prosecution Service and National Probation Service reports). Having attained my PIP2 (Civilian Detective) qualification in 2017, I am proficient not just in the investigation of serious and complex crime, but also in the writing of the associated risk management and prosecution files, necessitating the highest standards of written English. The multiple written victim and witness statements I have taken throughout my Police career have led me to the requisite balance between presenting a comprehensive sequence of events whilst remaining as succinct as possible. My written case files have proven to assist Crown Prosecutors in many successful criminal trials. I thrive on working within a target driven environment, and have learned through necessity the need to employ initiative when prioritising workloads.
