A member of larger Marquette University Advancement team based at the School of Dentistry. Direct gift solicitation responsible for raising $2M annually as well as maintaining current relationships and identifying new ones.Collaborated with specialty clinic directors (Endodontics, Orthodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics) to ensure alums were cultivated specific to their clinic. 100 new donors identified.Established new relationships with several Dental Support Organizations (DSOs) to identify new streams of revenue, specifically Smile Brands and Heartland Dental.Maintained and grew relationships with long time partners at the Wisconsin Dental Association and Delta Dental of WI.

Greater Milwaukee Area

Directed gift solicitation for 175 donor prospects throughout the US with a significant focus on the twelve-state Midwest Jesuit Province. Focus included support of retired Jesuits, Jesuits in formation and several international ministries in NE India, East Africa and Peru. Raised $25M during my decade of service to the Midwest Jesuits; engagement of new and lapsed donors became an emphasis and strength. Joined the (former) Wisconsin Jesuit Province in 2011 as Director of Advancement and Communications. Eventually transitioned to the Midwest Jesuit Province in 2014.

Directed all Reunion Giving as well as managed a portfolio of 150 alum prospects in Colorado, Michigan and Wisconsin. Increased overall reunion giving by 10% and secured 30 new individual reunion gifts.

Launched a number of initiatives at school including first annual appeal. Secured over $30K in new capital funding from various local organizations including the Chicago Bulls Foundation to update school library.Directed student enrollment and increased overall enrollment by 53% growing from 140 to 215 students in under one year.

Worked at three CRN schools over an eight year span including Cristo Rey Jesuit and Christ the King in Chicago as well as Arrupe Jesuit in Denver. At Cristo Rey in Chicago (2000-2002), I worked in the school's work-study program. I was also part of the team that launched the Cristo Rey Network. We assisted new Cristo Rey type schools in Austin, Boston, NYC, Portland, Los Angeles and Waukegan, IL.At Arrupe (2002-2007), I was one of four founding staff members of this inner-city Jesuit High School in NW Denver. I served as school's founding work-study director for five years securing over 80 companies (totaling over $1.5M in school revenue) for school's work-program. During the launch phase of the school, I was very active in fundraising, board formation as well as admissions and enrollment.At CTK (2007-2008), I was part of the founding leadership team and worked on a variety of projects in the school's development office including identifying prospective donors, major gift solicitations and initiating a junior board for the school.Well versed on all aspects of "Cristo Rey" type school functions: start up, operations, finances, admissions, fundraising, etc.Also served on the feasibility study committee for Cristo Rey Milwaukee.
