The ‘Hostage’ project will be a documentary style program that will present a honest portrayal of the global hostage-taking industry in all its hideous mutations running the gamut from the traditional kidnap & ransom criminal gangs, hostage-terrorism (Iraq/Afghanistan-AQ/Taliban/ Columbia-FARC), drug cartels (Mexico/South America), maritime (Somalia/Horn of Africa), sex-slave industry (Eastern Europe/Asia/America), child exploitation/illegal adoptions (Africa/South America/Asia). The focus of the series will be interviews with operators/SWAT/SOF/Intel Analysts/K&R Negotiators. The aim of the show is to educate an unwitting public about a real and insidious threat and also pay respect to SOF/LEA/Intel and K&R negotiators who go into harm’s way to bring loved ones home.

On behalf of the U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, established the Hostage Working Group (HWG) to provide crisis management and coordinate the U.S. Government response to all hostage situations in Iraq. Coordinator's position was to advised, make recommendations to the Ambassador on actions to deter, prevent, and be prepared to respond to hostage-taking incidents involving personal assigned to Ambassador and provide situational awareness on US citizens in country and foreigners in country. Served as a force multiplier that integrated all elements of national and regional power, diplomacy, intelligence, law enforcement, and military forces to bear as hostage situations develop in the Iraqi theater of operations (ITO).

Special Operations Command CENTRAL, Tampa, FL Sept 2001 to June 2004Special Operations Liaison Officer to US Central Command (USCENTCOM), MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL / Qatar / Iraq. Supported Special Operations Forces (SOF) and classified real-world combat operations during Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). Assigned to the US Central Command headquarters during wartime planning and execution. Briefed flag level officers concerning current combat theater operations involving special operations forces, providing time sensitive information in the decision making process and facilitated the successful completion of U.S. military objectives during OIF and the global war on terrorism. Responsible for the flow of all headquarter planning information to an organization that consisted of over 17,000 SOF and conventional armed force members, geographically displaced in over 12 different locations and engaged in combat operations throughout the Iraq.

Special Operations Operations/Plans Liaison to US Central Command (USCENTCOM)

Served as the Commander of two Naval Special Warfare Task Units and as the SEAL Team Platoon Commander of the theater contingency ready platoon deployed to Southwest Asia. Duties included the maintenance and accountability for more than one million dollars of special operations equipment and training and leading SEAL detachments of 14 to 21 personnel. Planned and prepared to execute classified contingency operations during periods of heightened tensions in the region. Supervised and led more than 100 high-risk training evolutions with allied and foreign-service personal that included SERE (escape & evasion) parachuting, closed/open circuit scuba, demolitions and weapons training. Conducted joint and combined exchange-training exercises throughout Southwest Asia, including Egypt, Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Eritrea and Pakistan.
