We perform Product Information Tool (PIM) implementations, PIM/MDM Analysis, Taxonomy Development, Product Data Modelling, Product Data System Integration recommendations, and end-to-end Product Data System analysis and consulting. I built tools that have too little ROI to be enterprise-supported but have immediate business value outside the normal development cycle.I educate on taxonomy and data quality issues to move forward from stagnation towards growth.

I am the Senior Taxonomist on the Merchandise Planning and System Development department for the Product Taxonomy team at Target, responsible for the team development of Taxonomy and Schema for the enterprise product taxonomy at Target. I am also the Lead Business Subject Matter Expert for all aspects of our Oracle PDQ installation, including lens development, strategy, and road mapping. I am responsible for the development of strategies like Item Level Attribution and Mutual Exclusivity and Inclusivity within the taxonomy program at Target. I am also responsible for training team members and contractors on multiple different systems and theories related to taxonomy.I have developed data-refining strategies and assisted in the implementations of new taxonomies that have been invaluable for the growth and maturation of the Product Taxonomy Team at Target, and driven large increases in data relevance, quality, and extensibility. Responsible for generating a taxonomy for a client in the Industrial Supply industry. This involved taxonomy development as well as Information Architecture aspects of the display of the Taxonomy on the client's web site.
