Facilities Peventative Maintenance Mechanic
CurrentThis position holds and expands upon the duties of my previous position. We strive to provide the safest and highest quality of life for our fellow employees and visitors. I properly install, troubleshoot and repair various mechanical electrical and control systems used in plant operations. I am thoroughly familiar with methods tools and instruments used in the repair, setting, adjusting, leveling of sheaves ,pump couplings, motor shafts etc. I understand instructions in manuals, interpret electrical and mechanical drawings. I operate all types of powered industrial trucks, lifts, boom lifts, and material handling equipment. I lead by mentoring Facilities Specialists and lending a hand when needed. I maintain records and schedules for all existing equipment throughout the plant . I monitor ,adjust, and troubleshoot all building automation systems in all programs. I assist the Maintenance Coordinator by providing recommendations as to how work sould be planned ,in house repairs or contracted work. Also I assist scheduling and coordination of vendors and contractors to mitigate unscheduled production down time. I Maintain the CMMS work order system by establishing PM’s for all new equipment and systems and bring equipment on line. I Maintain parts inventory and order parts through Xflow system. I am organizing and designing shop to be mobile enabling its relocation to suit production expansions/ needs . I Work with minimal supervision and am a part of a Professional Facilities Maintenance Team.
