Responsible for pitching Warner Chappell repertoire for advertising briefs from third party music supervisors and direct from advertising agencies & production houses. Start to finish licensing process to include pitching, ballpark quoting, in depth-negotiations, seeking writer/artist permissions and raising the relevant license agreements and invoices once terms finalized. Worked on campaigns for the likes of Lloyds TSB, Virgin Atlantic, 02, Marks & Spencer, Ford, Audi, McDonalds, Royal bank of Scotland, Barclays, Meta & Sky UK. Represented and licensed works from the likes of James Brown, Lizzo, Stormzy, Loyle Carner, Michael Kiwanuka, The Doobie Brothers, Donna Summer & Rag N Bone Man to name a few.

Synchronisation Manager position representing both the record label and music publishing arms of Domino. Responsible for negotiating & licensing Domino owned repertoire for World excludingUSA/Canada territories across all main media forms such as Advertising, Videogames, Film & TV. Marketing and pro-active pitching of the Domino catalogue to new and existing clients for exploitation and synchronisation opportunities. Start to finish licensing to include initial pitching, negotiations, general rights clearances and creation of the final paperwork/license agreements. Regularly liaising with non-UK based clients including organising business trips to visit key contacts such as advertising & production house contacts in Paris, Stockholm & Berlin. Worked on campaigns for the likes of DKNY, Nespresso, Gucci, Nike & L’Oreal. Represented and licensed acts such as The Kills, Patrick Watson, Son Lux, Ratatat, Buzzcocks & Vashti Bunyan.

Expanded role at Warner Chappell to include working on advertising projects such as radio commercials, Television sponsored idents and general regional & national multi-media commercials. Helping to grow new and non-traditional business opportunities such as lyric licensing on fashion brand t-shirts and building stronger relationships with corporate video production houses. Continued licensing in Television with more emphasis on procuring high profile promotional spots for newer artists. Help in organising artist playback sessions/showcases for key UK sync clients. Represented and licensed acts such as Paolo Nutini, Goldfrapp, Two Door Cinema Club & Radiohead.

Responsible for licensing & pitching Warner Chappell copyrights for exploitation in UK TV & Videogame projects. Designing electronic mail-outs of new releases/signings to keep sync contacts up to date with the latest music and liaising closely with the A&R team & artist management on sourcing biographies/press news and general audio. Attending showcases and artist concerts with key Sync clients from the TV and Videogame industries. Attending meetings with clients to discuss their upcoming music needs and to promote new or relevant music.

Within wider terms responsible for the production and maintenance of label copies for the EMI Records Catalogue division which included re-issues from EMI and Virgin Records at the time. Worked closely with A&R, Marketing & Product managers to obtain vital label copy information. Role also included reporting to societies such as MCPS & PPL. Worked on reissues for the likes of Penguin Café Orchestra, Genesis, Lee Hazlewood, Kate Bush & Gang of Four to name a few.

Short burst temporary licensing (jury service cover) position in the licensing department of Warner Records. Worked on many areas where support was needed such as UK compilation licensing, videogame projects and general Warner Music affiliate requests received for the local UK signed repertoire.

First licensing/sychronisation position at Chrysalis (when a standalone independent/pre-BMG takeover). Responsible for all pitching, negotiations, and licensing for the UK video game sector. Represented and licensed acts such as Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Blondie, Roy Ayers, Labi Siffre, Aphex Twin & Caribou.

First music industry role at Chrysalis (when a standalone independent/pre-BMG takeover). Managed in-house demo recording studio receiving bookings from managers/artists with general runner responsibilities such as meet and greets and bookkeeping. Also responsible for maintenance of the in-house music library of assets (quite a lot of Vinyl and Dat tapes!)
