I was involved in the development and implementation of a new cloud-based data platform at Gordon Food Service. I played a key role in establishing product ownership within the data and analytics engineering teams, and facilitated the backlog grooming, feature preparation, PI planning, daily standups, retros, and prioritization discussions with leadership. Through this work, I have gained a wealth of experience in areas such as data ingestion, data lake creation, enterprise data warehouse (EDW), and data strategy.

I was responsible for managing the backlog and contributing to the roadmap for a diverse portfolio of digital products. These products included supplier and customer-facing applications, ranging from highly regulated senior living, education, and healthcare industry applications to restaurant operator reporting tools and external user identity applications.

I also worked with over 200 vendors and suppliers to ensure that costs and prices were aligned between Gordon Food Service and these external parties. Through my own implementation of automation, I was able to streamline the manual aspects of this role and consolidate the responsibilities previously handled by two individuals into a single full-time position.
