Manager Of Financial Systems
CurrentI provide leadership, oversight and strategic direction to the Financial Systems team. I work closely with the IT department to secure, maintain and improve the information systems used by the Accounting, Budgeting, Reporting, Regulatory, Tax, Strategy, Treasury, and other business units. I support effective and efficient completion of the budgeting and forecasting processes, monthly variance analysis, business unit reporting, month-end close process, as well as the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting activities. I am responsible for our IBM Cognos TM1, Workiva Wdesk, SharePoint, UiPath Studio and Orchestrator, Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and many other systems. Primary Responsibilities:- oversee and lead the development and maintenance of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting automation solutions;- oversee and lead the technical design and implementation of automation projects;- lead both cross-functional and departmental special assignments and projects, acting as the Finance department's liaison and data steward with the IT department;- research, recommend and implement new or enhanced policies, procedures, processes and systems to improve operational efficiency;- prepare formal business cases, recommendations and presentations to senior management;- coordinate, review and negotiate system implementation and licensing agreements with external vendors;- manage system implementation and integration projects, as well as key initiatives to ensure quality and timely completion within budget;- oversee security access controls for all internally and externally developed software models to ensure integrity of confidential system information;- provide change management communications, trainings, presentations, instructional documentation, and technical guidance regarding changes to our financial systems; and- provide people leadership and direction through coaching, development, performance management and resource planning.
